Job summary

Serco is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Assembler to support U.S. Navy equipment and C5ISR installations in Norfolk, VA. You will fabricate electromechanical assemblies, follow blueprints, and work aboard U.S.

Naval Ships and military installations in a demanding, safety‑minded environment. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance, access shipyards, and pass drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have secret clearance eligibility.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must pass background check and drug screening for shipyard access.
• Must obtain Firewatch and Cable Installer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble electromechanical and electronic assemblies per blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams.
• Work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Rely on experience to plan and accomplish goals.
• Ensure safe work aboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
