Job summary

Serco is seeking Advanced Mechanical Assemblers to work on a high-profile U.S. Navy project aboard vessels and at shipyards. The role requires blueprint reading, power tool use, and a strong safety mindset in a dynamic military environment.

You will perform electromechanical assembly, routine maintenance, and alignment tasks while adhering to procedures and PPE protocols. A DoD Secret clearance and OSHA certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and access NAVSTA/DBIDS.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble electromechanical and electronic assemblies from blueprints or diagrams.
• Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and reporting malfunctions.
• Work on U.S. Naval Ships and military installations with attention to safety and PPE requirements.
• Read drawings, drill holes, cut metal, and torque bolts as directed by seniors.
