Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Senior Shipboard Technician/IT Technician 3 to support enterprise Windows networks aboard Navy bases and ships. This on-site role requires travel and no remote work.

You will lead or join teams on installations and lifecycle upgrades, perform Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, and coordinate with shipboard staff and vendors to maintain secure, reliable IT systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• SEC+ or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 2/3 infrastructure support for Windows-based enterprise networks.
• Respond to trouble calls using the NESD ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues to restore operation.
• Lead or participate in shipboard IT network installations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with shipboard personnel and vendors to resolve issues.
• Submit daily work reports.
• Provide data and inventory reports on request.
• Cross-train in shipboard IT systems.
