Job summary

StratasCorp in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Mid-Level Shipboard IT Technician to support shipboard IT networks and equipment on Navy bases and ships. The role entails troubleshooting, installations, and training crew members for LAN operations, with daily reporting and coordination with shipboard staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• SEC+ or equivalent certification required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist with new installations and life cycle upgrades for shipboard IT networks and equipment.
• Provide shipboard training to crew members for LAN and IT Equipment operation.
• Coordinate daily activities with customer representatives, shipboard personnel, and other contractors for LAN or network support.
• Prepare and provide daily work reports.
• Respond to queries for ad hoc data and network configuration and inventory reports.
