Job summary

TRISTAR is seeking a qualified engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) in fleet modernization testing and SOVT plan development. The role includes constructing testing frameworks for multiple shipboard installation milestones and leading cross-functional working groups on test plans and procedures.

The candidate will coordinate Tet/SOVT teams during shipboard and shore-site testing, review shipcheck reports, and advise on scheduling and repairs in collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 7 years of experience.
• Ability to receive and/or maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Travel 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Fleet Modernization Branch Manager with Stage Testing and SOVT plan development.
• Construct a testing framework for V6 and V7 shipboard installation milestones.
• Participate in and/or lead working groups for development of test plans and procedures.
• Coordinate activities of Tet and SOVT teams engaged in shipboard or shore site testing.
• Review Planning Yard shipcheck execution reports and provide recommendations.
• Assist NSWC AP communications to ensure TYCOM repairs are programmed appropriately.
• Provide input for LLTM, SIDs, and avail execution milestones.
