Job summary

SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. in Newport News, VA, is seeking an experienced Project Management Analyst to coordinate NAVSEA 08 projects, monitor budgets and schedules, and serve as liaison among planning, project teams, and line management.

You will oversee shipyard activities and report on progress against plans. You will assist in cost performance analyses, prepare contract change documents and responses, and ensure NR program requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cost estimation and validation for shipyard construction and maintenance.
• Experience with contract performance management and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Familiarity with NAVSEA 08, NR work regulations and shipyard interfaces.
• Strong written and oral communication for cross‑organization coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review project status, budgets, and schedules; prepare status reports.
• Analyze issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Attend contract change meetings and prepare related correspondence.
• Provide cost performance analyses and independent data for decision making.
• Coordinate NR actions with NAVSEA 08 and shipyards; support cost reports.
