Qualifications

• Must have US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in systems engineering applications for design/operations.
• 3+ years in model-based systems engineering for design/operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior military/executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems thinking to decompose naval power requirements and trace across shipboard constraints.
• Develop and maintain system architectures for naval power using MBSE and ensure full traceability.
• Build and manage SysML models covering requirements, functions, behaviors, and margins.
• Define integration data exchange standards and interoperability across digital twins.
• Design test/evaluation strategies and data collection for model validation.
• Develop SE tooling/workflows to advance digital engineering and decision dashboards.
• Collaborate with electrical, digital twin, and software engineers.
• Serve as technical authority for MBSE methodologies.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies and methods.
