Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a MBSE Systems Engineer to advance model-based systems engineering across submarine programs. The role involves leading MBSE pilots, evaluating tooling, and coordinating with Navy and industry partners to ensure aligned MBSE adoption.

The candidate will model submarine systems in Cameo Systems Modeler and help define end-state processes, procedures, and digital toolsets to support EB MBSE initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience at EB, another US defense contractor, or within the DoD.
• Experience implementing MBSE and related processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess MBSE processes and benchmark best practices.
• Lead or support MBSE pilots with internal/external stakeholders.
• Modeling in Cameo Systems Modeler to create functional and logical models.
• Develop and execute plans to achieve MBSE end-state with processes and tools.
