Job summary

Life Cycle Engineering seeks a Systems Technician to support the U.S. Navy by designing, installing, testing, and troubleshooting control, navigation, and network systems on Navy ships, interfacing with Navy civilian engineers, program managers, logisticians, and equipment manufacturers.

You will perform on-site and remote troubleshooting, develop test procedures, read schematics, and collaborate with OEMs to prepare equipment for installation and testing. Travel up to 25% may be required; U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Experienced in comprehensive systems troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring connection lists, and related documents.
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Modicon, etc.).
• May require ~25% travel.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot Navy ship systems.
• Conduct software and hardware integration testing.
• Develop and implement test procedures.
• Emphasize remote support and on-site assistance for Navy ships.
