Job summary

Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) seeks Junior to Intermediate Network Field Technicians to support the GEDMS for DDG-51 Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers. Interact with Navy civilians, contractors, and ship’s force to install, test, deploy, and maintain interior networks and communications.

The role centers on on-site field support, documentation, and lifecycle management of naval networks, with travel up to 25%. DoD clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Strong on-site and field support for Navy interior communications systems and networks.
• Experience with maintaining technical documentation such as manuals and training materials.
• Ability to work with electrical equipment including switchboards, routers, and networking gear.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with teammates, supervisors, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain U.S. Navy interior communications systems and networks.
• Provide on-site and field support to the DDG 51 Class Destroyers.
• Work under an experienced waterfront Field Engineer to eventually take an independent role.
• Assemble, rework, and test high-reliability hardware with proper tools and processes.
• Interface with project and manufacturing engineers to resolve hardware problems.
• Perform hand operations and repair work on hardware as needed.
