Job summary

GreenXT is seeking entry-level Electrical Engineers to support Navy HM&E control systems and networks. Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required, with DoD clearance or ability to obtain. Candidates should have 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong diagram-reading, diagnostic tools, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required.
• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or ability to obtain) required.
• 1–3 years of electrical or computer engineering experience.
• Fundamental concepts of industrial control systems.
• Reading electrical diagrams proficiency.
• Proficiency with test tools for industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools for industrial control systems troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications.
• Basic computer/laptop use including advanced operations.
• Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting tools.
• Basic technical writing ability.
• Familiarity with Navy organizations.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs+ and work on ships/shipyards/in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting complex problems of fielded microprocessor-based control systems.
• Review of technical documentation for fielded systems.
• Provide test support for fielded systems.
• Provide software and hardware installation support.
• Provide design input for future MCS systems.
• Develop test procedures for fielded and future systems.
• Assist in integration of equipment in industrial/shipboard environments.
