Job summary

Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) seeks Junior to Intermediate Network Field Technician candidates to support GEDMS systems on DDG-51 destroyers, interfacing with Navy engineers and contractors. You will participate in installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance aboard ships and on shipyards.

The role emphasizes on-site support, field deployment, and documentation. Travel up to 25% is expected; candidates should be comfortable with electrical equipment and network gear, and

Qualifications

Provide on-site and field support to keep Navy interior communications systems operational.
Assist testing, evaluation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of shipboard networks.
Strong communication to coordinate tasking with team leads and Navy personnel.
Produce and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals and specs.
Willingness to learn and work independently under supervision.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain GEDMS for DDG 51 class ships.
Troubleshoot and repair network and communication systems on site.
document procedures and update training materials as needed.
Interface with engineers, contractors, and ship’s force to ensure progress.
Travel to client sites up to 25% as required.
