Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator to join the Night Watch for the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) within the NOSC.

The role supports mission-critical network operations across multiple classification levels, ensuring continuous connectivity and security compliance. Ideal candidates have mid-level experience, a US Secret clearance, and hands-on skills with Cisco IOS, VPNs, and firewall policies.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 9 years with a High School Diploma.
• 4-7 years demonstrated experience in network operations and support.
• Security+ or equivalent certification required.
• Must hold and maintain a US Secret clearance.
• Experience in installing/troubleshooting WAN and LAN equipment and circuits.
• Experience with network security technologies including firewalls and port-security/802.1x.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot NETTN network connectivity and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Navy/DISA and providers for implementation and troubleshooting; IA compliance including IOS upgrades and ACL changes.
