Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. seeks a Network Administrator to support the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) within the NOSC. The role includes troubleshooting network connectivity, coordinating with Navy/DISA, and maintaining information assurance across networks and remote sites.

Qualifications

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD/JD; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Security+ or equivalent certification required.
• Must hold and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
• Experience installing/troubleshooting WAN and LAN equipment and circuits.
• Strong experience with ASA firewall ACLs and network troubleshooting at protocol level.
• Knowledge of Cisco IP networking, routing, switching, and Cisco IOS.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot NETTN connectivity and infrastructure.
• Support multiple networks across classification levels with continuous connectivity.
• Troubleshoot WAN circuits, routers/switches, firewall ACLs, VoIP registrations, and cryptographic devices.
• Coordinate with Navy/DISA and circuit providers for implementation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain Information Assurance including IOS upgrades and firewall changes.
• Support remote sites in restoring network failures.
