Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies seeks a Network Administrator to support the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) within the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC). The NOSC acts as the helpdesk for network operations, providing troubleshooting for WAN circuits, routers/switches, firewall ACLs, VoIP device registrations and cryptographic devices.

Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD/JD; or 13 years with HS diploma.
Security+ or equivalent certification required.
Must hold and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
Experience installing/troubleshooting WAN and LAN network equipment and circuits.
Strong experience with Cisco Internetworking (IP, VLANs, IOS).
Experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines and network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot NETTN connectivity and infrastructure.
Support multiple networks across classification levels with continuous connectivity.
Troubleshoot WAN/LAN, firewall ACLs, VoIP registrations, and cryptographic devices.
Coordinate with Navy/DISA and circuit providers for implementation and troubleshooting.
Maintain IA compliance including IOS upgrades and ACL verification.
Support remote sites in restoring network failures.
