Job summary

Gnostech, LLC seeks a System Support Specialist to sustain METOC ISEA systems for NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific, delivering remote and on-site support worldwide. You will troubleshoot complex systems, document incidents, and train operators to ensure mission readiness.

Location is San Diego, CA, with no hybrid/remote option. Candidates must hold a current Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, and be willing to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in DoD or C4ISR systems.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux.
• Ability to obtain CSWF/IAT certification if needed.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for U.S. government security clearance.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at hire or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–3 distance technical support via phone, VTC, email, chat, or remote means.
• Provide on-site technical assistance to end users at worldwide locations.
• Maintain accounts and document troubleshooting steps in tickets.
• Perform data analytics to identify system instability and assist with tripwires.
• Provide OJT and classroom operator training for Fleet/FMFF sites.
• Support field changes with briefs to ship and shore personnel.
• Coordinate with SDMs and CB-ISEA team to resolve issues.
