Gnostech, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to support NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific METOC programs in San Diego, CA. The role involves advanced engineering support across design, integration, testing, and sustainment of METOC systems.

The position requires a current Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II, Security+ CE, and 4 years of hands-on C4I experience. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS is anticipated as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on experience testing, diagnosing, and repairing C4I electronic equipment.
• Current active Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II, Security+ CE or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (2-4 trips per year).
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical and engineering support for the full lifecycle of METOC systems, including design, integration, testing, and maintenance.
• Support Fleet Technical Sustainment for end customers and ensure post-deployment readiness.
• Develop technical documentation—manuals, specifications, reports, and drawings.
• Analyze engineering data to develop or review designs, schematics, and specs.
• Record test data, identify issues, and prepare formal reports.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for complex issues.
