Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical system design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance and testing.
  • US citizen with ability to obtain DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Creating mechanical designs and drawings.
  • Writing precise calculations.
  • Creating and testing prototypes for functionality.
  • Re-engineering products and recalculating for full functionality.
  • Preparing reports and documentation for leadership.
  • Perform obsolescence evaluation and assist with replacements.
