Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC is seeking a Materials Coordinator in Newport, RI, to manage material flow in line with production and shipping schedules. The role requires a Secret clearance and entails overseeing receipt, inspection, and processing of materials per Navy ERP and MILSTRIP procedures.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate MHE tasks, and ensure compliance with COSIS, storage schemas, and government documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have five years of warehouse experience with materiel management functions, including receipt, issue, COSIS, and inventory reconciliation.
• Supervised 10+ warehouse employees. Knowledge of DoD logistics systems and procedures is required.
• Experience with Navy ERP warehouse operations and related documentation (MILSTRIP, DD-250, DD-1348, DD-1149).
• Experience with MILSTRIP, NAVSEA Warehouse Process Guide, and discrepancy reporting (TDRs, SDRs, PQDRs).

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, inspection, and processing of materials; verify part number, count, and condition against Navy ERP POs.
• Supervise receipt processing by material type (MILSTRIP, Classified/COMSEC, GPC/Contract, goods receipt).
• Review and approve TDRs, SDRs, PQDRs for damaged/nonconforming materials.
• Maintain open orders, bills of lading, WMFs, completed files.
• Oversee Navy ERP induction, WMFs, chain of custody forms (DD-250, DD-1348, DD-1149).
• Supervise storage operations per Government Location Schema; ensure proper NSN storage."],
