Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a General and Operations Manager for our Hawaii-based NUWCDIVKPT proposal effort in Oahu, Hawaii.

The role provides leadership over logistics, supply, and program management, ensures compliance with Navy regulations, and delivers detailed operational reports on manpower, schedules, and cost. A Secret clearance is required and US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10 years of professional experience in technical program/project management.
• Experience across dispersed geographic areas desired.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to the team.
• Ensures flow of communication from upper management to employees and vice versa.
• Administrative/operational leadership within contract guidelines.
• Oversee Turn-In & Receiving Operations, Accountability & Records Management, Warehousing & Material Handling, and Coordination & Customer Service.
• Ensure compliance with Navy regulations, manuals, and contract requirements with accurate records in logistics systems.
• Verify documentation and update records.
• Provide logistical support in supply, maintenance, and transportation.
• Set program objectives, plan, organize, and manage supply functions.
• Present briefs and prepare detailed operational reports including manpower, schedules, and financials.
• Implement continuous Risk Management throughout the contract life cycle.
