Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Lead Planning Current Operations Specialist to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii. You will oversee the synchronization of complex logistics lifecycles, including deliberate planning, procurement, and distribution strategies to ensure mission readiness.

You will authorize strategic logistics models, validate workflow efficiency, and guide staff while coordinating global networks and expeditionary contingencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrate strategic authority in operational planning and act as the functional lead for logistics deliverables.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Oversees the synchronization of complex logistics lifecycles including deliberate planning, procurement, and distribution strategies.
• Authorize strategic logistics models to optimize resource allocation across global networks.
• Validate the efficiency of operational workflows to ensure mission readiness and long-term sustainability.
• Manages the integration of future and current logistics operations to support mission objectives in contested environments.
• Authorize the development of Contingency Plans for expeditionary logistics across the Pacific region.
• Serves as the final Technical Authority for logistics synchronization during multinational theater exercises and crisis response.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required and 12+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
• Must demonstrate Strategic Authority in operational planning and act as the Functional Lead for program-level logistics deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Professional certification such as PMP or specialized military planning credentials (e.g., JPME).
• Extensive experience in USPACOM or USSOCOM deliberate planning cycles.

Clearance Required

• Must hold an active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
