Job summary

QED Systems Inc is seeking a Logistics and Material Specialist to manage procurement, receipt, inventory control and material issue for naval programs. The role requires strong knowledge of government procedures and secret clearance.

Responsibilities include on-site collaboration with ship’s force, participation in meetings, and administering material acquisition processes to support CVN availability and readiness.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GCPC procedures, ONE TOUCH, FEDMALL, FEDLOG, eRMS, WEBVLIPS, and PEDREP.
• U.S. citizenship and a valid secret clearance are required.
• Minimum ten years of material management experience for CVN readiness.

Responsibilities

• Procure, receive, and control inventory; issue material to production.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with ship's force.
• Plan maintenance or modernization availability and training for staff.
• Administer material acquisition processes to support aircraft carrier fleet.
• Coordinate data input/output for material management systems.
