Job summary

Engineering Services Network - ESN in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Logistician on site to support development of technical data packages and associated data management. The role requires effective communication with DoD entities and NAVSUP/ISEA contacts to obtain accurate data for project objectives.

Ideal candidates have naval logistics background and proficiency with MS Office including MS Access, plus experience with data systems like OARS, CDMDOA, and DLA FEDMALL.

Qualifications

• Naval supply background or military environment experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office including MS Access for data compilation.
• Knowledge of industry data systems such as OARS, CDMDOA, NAVSUP Inform 21, and DLA E Mall.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing technical data packages (TDPs) and manage electronic parts data.
• Communicate with DoD entities to obtain data and information for project objectives.
• Coordinate with NAVSUP and ISEA contacts to acquire technical data for tasks.
• Ensure data accuracy and alignment with target assembly revision levels and parts.
• Review NSN data and source alternatives for obsolete parts to support repairs.
• Utilize in-house and third-party tools to improve data accuracy and automation.
