Job summary

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Logistician to join the Materials and Information Management team in the United States. You will support daily shipping/receiving activities, coordinate end-to-end logistics, and ensure compliant operations while working with site personnel and carriers.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s) with relevant experience, strong communication and collaboration skills, and familiarity with government property requirements.

• Familiarity with FAR/CFAR and government property requirements.
• Experience in logistics, inventory control, government property management, or supply chain operations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze data and metrics using Microsoft Office and Power Platform to track shipping/receiving performance, identify trends, and propose improvements.
• Participate in meetings with site and corporate partners to report status and ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate end-to-end shipping and receiving activities including documentation, orders, scheduling, and tracking with carriers.
• Engage with internal customers to understand needs and adjust plans to meet schedule and quality expectations.
• Perform daily fleet support activities, including vehicle checks and coordinating services.
• Plan and track maintenance and inspections to ensure fleet readiness and safety.
