Job summary

SimVentions in Dahlgren, VA is seeking an Information Assurance Specialist to support a Navy tactical system integrating with EW sensors. The role requires DoD RMF/STIG, IAT Level II certification, and hands-on Linux (RHEL) administration along with test environment maintenance.

You will work with GitLab, Docker/Podman, Cisco switches, and conduct test planning, execution, regression testing, and documentation. Some travel and Interim Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher.
• Linux operating system certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Hands-on experience administering and supporting RHEL systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, workstations, VMs, and related IT hardware/software.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements including RMF, STIG, vulnerability scanning, and continuous monitoring.
• Experience with classified DoD network environments and lab/test environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for a high-visibility Naval information system with EW sensors.
• Maintain test assets, environments, and lab build infrastructure; troubleshoot as needed.
• Collaborate with SMEs to understand test requirements and ensure correct SKCS test environment.
• Assist I&T and CM/DM teams with testing and tasking as needed.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, trouble reports, and engineering artifacts.
