Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking an Information Assurance Specialist to support a Navy EW-related system. The role requires DoD IA expertise, IAT Level II or higher, and strong Linux and test engineering skills.

You will operate in a lab environment, maintain test assets, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure correct configurations and successful test events. Travel to external sites may be required; Interim Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• DoD cybersecurity and Information Assurance requirements (RMF, STIG, vulnerability scanning)
• Hands-on Linux, RHEL, and server/workstation administration
• Experience with test environments, documentation, and test results
• Ability to develop technical documentation and engineering artifacts
• Clearance: Interim Secret required; IAT Level II or higher
• Experience with DoD network environments and classified handling

Responsibilities

• Learn test assets and classified builds in SKCS lab
• Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment with SMEs
• Collaborate with SMEs to define test requirements for SKCS environment
• Support I&T team testing as needed
• Assist CM/DM tasks as needed; knowledge of Linux (RHEL), GitLab, Docker/Podman, Cisco switch configurations
