Job summary

Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to support HM&E contracts, focusing on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems.

The trainer will prepare and instruct students at NSWCPD’s Auxiliary Systems Test Facility, delivering interactive, instructor-led courses and hands-on OJT. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or three years of military curriculum development experience, ability to travel, and the eligibility for a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in training or three years of military experience in curriculum development and instruction.
• Ability to apply knowledge of AC&R theory, pipefitting, electrical, mechanical layouts, VSD, HVAC controls aboard Navy/Coast Guard vessels.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and testing of naval air conditioning and refrigeration systems, subsystems, equipment, and components.
• Evaluate training requirements for the system.
• Create training objectives and goals.
• Identify resources necessary to implement the plan and ensure training follows the plan.
• Interface with SMEs regarding training development.
• Design, develop, and revise complex interactive, instructor-led courses of a technical nature.
• Prepare instructional materials from technical source data.
