Job summary

Continental Tide is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to support AC&R training at NSWCPD’s Auxiliary Systems Test Facility, delivering instruction on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting naval HVAC systems.

You will design, develop and revise courses, prepare instructional materials, conduct on-the-job training, and ensure programs meet Navy specifications while coordinating with subject-matter experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in training or three (3) years of military experience in curriculum development and instruction.
• Three (3) years’ experience planning and managing training development for large programs, developing formal classroom courses, workshops, training plans, courses and material of a technical nature.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and testing of naval AC&R systems and components.
• Evaluate training requirements and create objectives and goals.
• Design, develop, and revise complex instructor-led courses of a technical nature.
• Draft and finalize training documentation and instructional materials.
• Present training materials to large audiences and conduct customized classes.
• Perform On-the-job hands-on training and facilitate discussions.
