Job summary

Tech Wizards, Inc. seeks a Baseline9 Navy ACNT trainer to train fleet sailors at Aegis Training and Readiness Center Dahlgren VA. This role focuses on Baseline 9C for maintenance and operation of the Aegis Weapon System.

The position requires seven years of Navy system experience, ACNT NECs, a bachelor’s degree, and up to 10% travel. An active DoD Secret clearance is required. Tech Wizards offers exceptional salaries and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience with the required system in a journeyman level training env or supervisor role with teaching responsibilities.
• One (1) year of experience as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment, including curriculum maintenance and evaluation of instruction.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, organizes and conducts classroom and lab training for Fleet ACNT technicians on Baseline 9C.
• Develops, tests, maintains and delivers training programs and materials for ATRC objectives.
• Teaches approved course content and objectives.
• Assesses sailors' abilities and provides formal performance appraisals and improvement recommendations.
• Reviews Navy Aegis doctrine and integrates it into training scenarios.
• Prepares and customizes curriculum lesson plans and instructor guides.
• Conducts training sessions and develops criteria to evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintains records of training activities and participant progress.
