Job summary

Noblis, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support the US Navy out of Newport, RI. This role focuses on maintaining hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management across submarine and naval platforms.

The ideal candidate has a DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, a bachelor’s degree, and proven CM experience with NAVWAR procedures, CANES-like architectures, and lab support for submarines and surface ships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree and 3 years of professional experience in configuration management.
• US Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or able to obtain a DoD secret.
• Experience using NAVWAR software related procedures on submarines, surface, or shore installations.
• Experience in submarine software installations or installation of networked systems on Navy platforms.
• Experience using the PEO C4I AI process in lab environments in support of submarines or surface ships.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and resolving issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
• Work with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
• Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
• Defining and implementing configuration management policies and procedures to manage software versions, dependencies, and configurations.
• Monitoring release metrics and performance indicators to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and improve release efficiency.
• Providing support in areas such as version control systems, deployment automation, change control processes, and release validation.
