Job summary

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support the AN/BYG-1 program in Newport, RI. The role focuses on CM/ILS activities, maintaining configuration data, developing documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and reliability of hardware and software products.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills; 5+ years of Navy DoD logistics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and recommend actions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support AN/BYG-1 CM/ILS tasks across the program.
• Develop ILS Certifications, including data entry in Navy Data Environment (NDE).
• Prepare Engineering Change Documentation (ECD) and coordinate data verification.
• Develop COP documents and submit updates to Navy CDM.
• Conduct functional and physical CM audits for hardware and software.
• Attend CM/ILS meetings and interface with stakeholders.
• Maintain CM/ILS data and boat schedules across systems.
