Amentum is seeking a motivated Junior DevSecOps Engineer in Dahlgren, VA to support Navy programs with development, integration, testing, and deployment of DoD software. You will work on cross-functional teams applying Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities include designing and validating software in C/C++, Java, and Python; maintaining CI/CD pipelines; using Git and Jira; participating in test readiness reviews; and collaborating with government partners to deliver secure,

Qualifikationen

• BS degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline.
• 2 years of relevant technical discipline experience or Navy combat systems experience at E5 or higher.
• Experience with Maritime or Land Based weapons control or C2 systems.
• DevSecOps pipeline maintenance with GitLab, Jenkins, and static analysis tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government security clearance.

• Design, implement, and validate software using C/C++, Java, and Python.
• Participate in the full engineering lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with government and industry partners to advance system functionality.
• Utilize Git, Jira, static code analysis tools, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver secure software products.
• Support technical discussions with program managers and customers regarding progress and impacts.
• Contribute to test-related activities including TRRs, integration events, and post-test assessments.
• Collaborate with Test Support team across the system test lifecycle.
• Contribute innovative solutions to complex mission challenges.
• Work both independently and in teams to meet program goals and quality expectations.
