Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Maintenance and Material Management Specialist to join our team on-site in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing maintenance data from Navy sources (OMMS-NG, MFOM, CSMPs, INSURV) to improve fleet readiness and 3-M program effectiveness.

The position requires extensive Navy 3-M experience, CVN maintenance policy knowledge, and strong data analysis skills, with collaboration across ROC SMEs to drive actionable improvements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with the U.S. Navy’s 3-M System within the last 5 years.
• 10+ years of CVN maintenance policies and reporting requirements per JFMM.
• 10+ years of analyzing Navy maintenance data and identifying performance trends.
• 8+ years of expert-level Navy maintenance data navigation.
• 5+ years of proficient use of Microsoft Products.
• Familiarity with Navy Data Environment (NDE), OMMS-NG, MFOM, CSMPs, and INSURV reports.
• Experience conducting formal shipboard 3-M program assessments aboard aircraft carriers (CVNs).

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, analyze maintenance data from Navy sources to develop statistical and graphical analyses of maintenance program effectiveness.
• Analyze CVN 3-M data to pinpoint deficiencies and training gaps, delivering data-driven recommendations.
• Evaluate impact of deferred actions on carrier readiness and prioritize maintenance items.
• Collaborate with ROC SMEs to integrate 3-M data with logistics, manning, and training analyses.
• Draft recommendations for Carier Readiness guidance and 3-M program requirements for government review.
• Provide data analysis and technical recommendations to ROC metrics related to maintenance effectiveness.
