Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Dallas seeks an Assistant Fund Accounting Controller to join the Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions group. This role focuses on financial accounting, reporting, and analysis of fund operations, including NAV calculations, journal entries, and cash management.

You will collaborate with team members, support audits, ensure SOX/compliance where applicable, and mentor junior staff while driving process improvements and reporting automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with fund (NAV) accounting required, with real estate exposure preferred.
• Experience with accounting software such as Yardi preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, FASB, REIS, IFRS and related standards where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review periodic NAV calculations.
• Input daily trading, GL activity, and pricing of funds to ensure NAV accuracy.
• Produce fund financial statements and investor reports and obligations.
• Review monthly property-level reports.
• Post journal entries and money-movement transactions.
• Prepare investor capital calls and distributions.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
