Wildflower Farms, part of the Auberge Collection in New York’s Hudson Valley, seeks a Nature Guide to lead hikes and host nature-based activations. You will translate local flora, fauna, and history into engaging classes and daily experiences for guests.

You’ll develop seasonal programming, work with Farm and Culinary teams, and tailor experiences to guest interests while managing supplies and budgets. The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Formación

• Naturalist, outdoor guiding, or park/conservation-level experience with regional flora, fauna, and ecology.
• NY DEC Licensed Guide Program.
• Demonstrated experience leading guided hikes, walks, or treks for groups, with basic trail safety and group management.
• Guest-facing teaching or instructional experience required.
• Knowledge of local Hudson Valley history, landmarks, and natural features, or ability to build quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Lead guided hikes, walks, and treks across the property and surrounding trails, 5x/week.
• Host a complimentary nature-based activation 5x/week (e.g., foraging walk, birding session, flower foraging and arranging).
• Support group and private experience requests, including custom route/format input as needed.
• Activate seasonal nature programming in line with migratory patterns and bloom cycles.
• Partner with Experiences team to develop new activation concepts (stargazing, foraging, garden-based programming).
• Work with Head Farmer and Farm team on programming tied to seasonal rhythms.
• Build knowledge of the Hudson Valley area to answer guest questions and weave regional storytelling.
• Drive personalization and surprise moments with Experiences team and make guest touches meaningful.
• Manage program supplies and forecast costs as part of the department budget.
