Job summary

Wildflower Farms, Auberge Collection in New York's Hudson Valley is seeking a Farm Host to greet guests and ensure a welcoming stay from check-in to check-out. You will coordinate guest itineraries, answer calls, document preferences in Opera, guide guests around the property, and assist with on-site transportation while maintaining an organized Front Desk.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a Front Desk or guest services role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest documentation including itineraries, welcome letters, and waivers to facilitate smooth check-in/out processes.
• Answer and direct phone calls according to company protocols.
• Document guest preferences in the Opera system and communicate them to relevant departments.
• Guide guests around the property and arrange on-site transportation when needed.
• Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Process billing accurately following Front Desk procedures.
• Document irregularities in the departmental logbook and alert management as appropriate.
• Serve as a property ambassador by providing information about reservations, amenities, local attractions, spa services, and dining options.
• Maintain an organized Front Desk area with all necessary materials readily available.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Wildflower Farms facilities to effectively promote services to guests.
• Build collaborative relationships within the Front Office and understand the operations of all hotel departments.
