National University of Natural Medicine seeks a Medicinary Specialist to support the NUNM Health Center Medicinary operations, including dispensing natural medicines, compounding formulas, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service to patients, students, and providers.

The role involves supervising work-study students, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with NUNM Store coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in retail or sales of nutritional/herbal supplements.
• Strong data entry and inventory management skills.
• Ability to review prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Willingness to supervise work-study students.

Responsabilités

• Dispense provider-prescribed herbs, supplements and other Medicinary products, ensuring accuracy and safety of prescriptions.
• Compound natural medications using standard formulas and processes.
• Maintain accurate pricing, orders, and mail orders processing.
• Provide professional, courteous information to patients, students, and providers within legal guidelines.
• Supervise and train work-study students on Medicinary procedures.
• Maintain inventory and anticipate resupply needs.
• Handle cashiering and reconcile daily sales with receipts.
• Follow FDA/OSHA health and safety requirements and HIPAA confidentiality.
