Job summary

The role involves accurate receiving, tracking in BD Logistics and Epic EHR, and ensuring proper storage, handling, and charge integrity.

The specialist will perform cycle counts, rotate stock by expiration date, handle returns, and prepare medications for delivery to clinics and EMS agencies.

Qualifications

• Requires high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with inventory/stocking systems preferred or pharmacy distribution experience.
• Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in Vermont is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify medications for inpatient and clinic stock.
• Help with storage, distribution, and replenishment of meds across UVMMC clinics.
• Perform cycle counts and rotate stock to minimize waste and expired items.
• Process medication returns to wholesalers or distributors and remove recalls.
• Package meds for delivery to ambulatory clinics and EMS agencies.
• Restock emergency carts and kits and relabel/repackage medications as needed.
