Job summary

WhiteWater in Houston or Austin seeks a Natural Gas Scheduler to coordinate daily receipt, transportation, and delivery of natural gas across interstate and intrastate pipelines. You will manage nominations, confirmations, imbalances, and customer communications within the Quorum Pipeline Transaction Management (QPTM) system.

You’ll work with Pipeline Operations, Gas Control, customers and interconnecting pipelines to ensure accurate scheduling, tracking and invoicing while maintaining safe,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Excel proficiency required.
• 3+ years of pipeline scheduling experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Exposure to Texas Intrastate Pipelines and interstate pipelines helpful.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist shippers with nominations and confirm scheduled quantities on interstate and intrastate pipelines.
• Monitor scheduled vs actual gas flows and manage imbalances.
• Coordinate actions to minimize imbalance exposure and maintain system balance.
• Navigate major pipelines and report scheduling data.
• Communicate with shippers regarding nominations and scheduling issues.
• Monitor gas flow and SCADA data, coordinating with Gas Control on conditions.
• Exchange daily nomination data with external counterparties and internal gas control.
• Develop relationships with interconnecting pipelines and transportation customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries with professional service.
• Verify contract information, nomination accuracy, and quantities.
• Support daily and monthly volume allocations and measurements.
