Job summary

Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets team in Houston is seeking a Midcontinent Gas Scheduler to coordinate and execute physical natural gas transactions. You will work with scheduling and trading teams to resolve operational flow issues and optimize transportation, storage, and supply assets.

You will support traders, maintain nominations, monitor outages, and communicate impacts to stakeholders. The role requires flexibility for after-hours and weekend work, with some remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Midcontinent natural gas scheduling experience preferred but not required.
• Familiar with pipeline nomination, confirmation, balancing, and scheduling processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and submit nominations with internal and third-party schedulers.
• Maintain scheduling system with planned and finalized activity.
• Monitor pipeline websites for outages and maintenance events.
• Communicate impacts to stakeholders and support asset optimization.
• Collaborate with settlements to address invoicing and reconciliation as needed.
• Occasional after-hours and weekend work, potentially remote.
