CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Solar Commissioning Technician to support utility-scale solar projects across the United States.

This role involves travel with a 3 weeks on-site followed by 4 days off schedule, and a preference for candidates located in Arkansas, Missouri, or Kentucky. The position includes hands-on commissioning, electrical troubleshooting, and documentation duties, with a base salary of $70,000-$75,000 plus benefits and nationwide travel expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in utility-scale solar commissioning, electrical troubleshooting, or industrial controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and project drawings.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn and utilize proprietary web-based tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite inspections of commissioning component installations to ensure compliance with installation manuals and project construction drawings.
• Execute solar tracker commissioning activities including startup, configuration, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving tracker controllers, power supplies, sensors, and communication systems.
• Provide technical support to customers and field teams while escalating complex issues to Engineering as needed.
• Document commissioning activities, test results, equipment issues, and corrective actions on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with project teams to achieve commissioning milestones while maintaining strict safety standards.
• Support successful project turnover and system performance verification.
