Job summary

MP NexLevel, LLC is seeking experienced fiber splicers to support large-scale data center and telecommunications projects across the United States. This role involves fusion splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and meticulous documentation in mission-critical environments.

Candidates must be comfortable traveling extensively and handling fast-paced construction projects. Ideal applicants are hands-on, capable of working independently, and ready for nationwide travel to active sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fiber optic splicing experience.
• Experience with fusion splicing and fiber troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform and interpret OTDR testing.
• Experience with single-mode and multimode fiber.
• Ability to read splice diagrams and construction drawings.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Perform fusion splicing of single-mode, multimode, ribbon, and loose-tube fiber.
• Conduct OTDR, power meter, and fiber certification testing.
• Troubleshoot fiber loss, connectivity issues, and outages.
• Read splice diagrams and construction drawings; document results.
• Install, route, terminate, label, and organize fiber cabling.
• Travel nationwide to support active projects.
