Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks an experienced Cable Splicer & Tester to join our telecom wireline team. You will splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cables for large‑scale deployments, ensuring high‑quality builds and on‑time delivery across multiple markets.

The role requires hands‑on field work, reading schematics, maintaining records, and collaborating with project managers. Travel up to 75% and a valid driver's license are required; company truck provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Cable Splicer & Tester in telecom wireline.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic and copper splicing techniques and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in aerial/underground environments.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license; company truck provided as needed.
• Willingness to travel to multiple markets (up to 75%).

Responsibilities

• Perform cable splicing, termination, and testing for fiber optic and copper networks.
• Conduct OTDR, power meter, light source, and related tests.
• Troubleshoot and repair cable issues in aerial and underground environments.
• Read and interpret splicing diagrams, schematics, and work orders.
• Maintain documentation of splicing records and test results.
• Follow safety standards and industry best practices in the field.
• Interface with project managers to provide status updates.
• Support multiple markets with travel up to 75%.
