Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a Traveling Superintendent with 5+ years of experience leading tilt-up construction across the United States. You will manage field operations, enforce safety and quality, and drive projects to completion on schedule and within budget.

You will coordinate subcontractors, oversee procurement, maintain daily site diaries, review cost reports, and report progress to the project manager.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of experience as a lead superintendent on tilt-up construction projects.
• Able to make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Able to organize people, tools, and equipment and plan/manage multiple activities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to face challenges and address conflict.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Attend the post award review meeting to receive project information and details for preplanning.
• Prepare a schedule of construction activities and their sequence, the organization structure, staff selection, and resource requirements.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and the time schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes.
• Maintain a daily diary to record significant project facts, events and approvals.
