Job summary

ARCO Companies seeks a Traveling Superintendent with 5+ years leading tilt-up construction projects across the United States. The role focuses on delivering projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will manage field operations, coordinate with project teams, and ensure seamless integration of subcontractors and milestones on diverse industrial and office builds nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a lead superintendent on tilt-up construction projects.
• Able to make decisions under tight deadlines.
• Able to organize people, tools, and equipment and plan/manage multiple activities.
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to address conflicts and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Attend post award review meeting to receive project details for preplanning.
• Coordinate schedule of construction activities and manpower requirements.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule.
• Assist project manager with material shipments and approvals of shop drawings.
• Coordinate subcontractors and integrate with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, PO's, invoices, and other reports.
• Cooperate with owner representatives and architects for project success.
• Hold site meetings with project manager and regional manager.
• Report progress to project manager and flag risks to costs/schedules.
• Maintain a daily diary of significant project facts and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to the company's safety program.
