Job summary
Housing Consultants of America, LLC is seeking traveling Affordable Housing Compliance Professionals as 1099 independent contractors to support properties nationwide. You will perform onsite and remote audits, review HUD and LIHTC certifications, and apply EIV and voucher transmittals with HOTMA updates across assignments.
Travel typically lasts three weeks per assignment, with remote work opportunities between travels, including per diem and travel-support provisions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of affordable housing compliance experience.
- Proven expertise in HUD and LIHTC programs.
- Knowledge of EIV, voucher transmittals, and HOTMA.
- Active COS or HCCP and TCS required.
- Ability to travel nationally with professionalism and adaptability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite and remote file audits.
- Process and review HUD & LIHTC certifications (Must know BOTH programs).
- Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy.
- Complete EIV reviews and voucher transmittals.
- Provide consulting support to property management teams.
- Assist with HOTMA implementation and compliance updates.
