Job summary

UCBEnvironmental is seeking a National Sustainability Manager for UCBZeroWaste to lead sales and implementation of large-scale recycling, reuse, and zero-waste programs across major U.S. manufacturers and distributors.

The role includes reviewing contract data, identifying opportunities, and managing the program after contracting and rollout. You will meet with clients to discuss needs, visit sites, negotiate terms, estimate costs and savings, and guide product selections in line with

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to negotiate and understand contracts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Thrive in fast paced and challenging working environment.
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Extensive waste management experience (hazardous waste preferred).
Self-starter with strong recycling/environmental and sustainability acumen.

Responsibilities

Meet with new or existing customers to discuss how UCB products or services can meet their needs.
Visit customer sites to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales.
Negotiate prices or terms of vendor sales or service agreements.
Compute customer’s installation or production costs and estimate savings from new services, products, or equipment.
Select or assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
