Job summary

UCBEnvironmental is seeking a National Sustainability Manager to lead large-scale recycling, reuse and zero-waste programs for medium to large U.S. manufacturers and distributors.

You will review contract data, identify opportunities, and manage the program after contracting and implementation, with a profit-share model and close client collaboration.

This role requires experience in waste management, strong negotiation, program management, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and contract understanding.
• Extensive waste management experience; hazardous waste background preferred.
• Ability to travel ~50% to meet client needs and implement programs.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new or existing customers to discuss how UCB products or services meet their needs.
• Visit customer sites to evaluate needs or promote product/service sales.
• Negotiate prices or terms of vendor sales or service agreements.
• Compute customer installation or production costs and estimate savings from new services or equipment.
• Select or assist customers in selecting products based on needs, product specs, and regulations.
