The National Senior Resource Counselor (NSRC) is responsible for increasing initial in-person presentations (IPP) and move-ins within their portfolio of communities from leads referred by referral agencies and assigned lead sources.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities
  • Responding to leads from multiple channels (phone, email, website)
  • Entering leads into the Sunrise lead database application
  • Reviewing all Sunrise options with the referral agency representative
  • Contacting the lead and setting up the IPP
  • Primary point of contact for the referral agency and/or customer until the community Director of Sales (DS) establishes contact
  • Positioning Sunrise Senior Living as a preferred provider
  • Strengthening professional relationships with the referral agencies
  • Implementing sales strategies
  • Achieving sales targets
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Two to five (2-5) years sales experience
  • A demonstrated track record of closing sales
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including group presentations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Conflict management skills
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications, with ability to learn new applications
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible hours, including some holidays
  • Ability to work independently in a home-office environment
