Job summary

Draper is seeking a Program Manager 1 in Cambridge, MA to lead end-to-end program execution for national security missions under a multi-functional team. You will manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, and drive proposals and capture efforts with sponsors.

The role requires at least 5 years of PM experience in DoD/USG contexts, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. A Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS, or related technical field.
• 5 years of professional experience in program/project management.
• Experience with DoD/IC or USG programs.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program execution across cost, schedule and performance targets.
• Lead capture, development and execution across a broad sponsor base.
• Coordinate with functional teams to recruit, retain and develop key talent.
• Manage risks, issues and opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support contract negotiations, reporting, deliverables and changes.
